Montana Association of Conservation Districts: Facing internal apathy and program funding cuts, the Montana Association of Conservation Districts utilized K Communication to develop and carry out a statewide leadership initiative. The project spanned a two year period with an end result of an increase in state funded programs important to the conservation districts, appointees to key statewide boards and committees, and a revitalized organization.

Park County Economic Development Corporation: When the Park County Economic Development Corporation needed a manager to write economic development grant proposals and compile current economic trends and data, it turned to K Communciation to carry out this work. Utilizing K Communciation for these responsibilities freed up the organization ’ s Executive Director for other projects and community outreach.

Big Creek Irrigation District: A group of local irrigators retained K Communciation to guide it to create an irrigation district. The district then worked to secure grants and low interest loans for its participants. K Communication worked with legal advisement and state and federal agencies to insure compliance and to take advantage of funding opportunities.

Park County Commission and Park County Planning Board: K Communication oversaw the writing and development of a growth policy for Park County. K Communication was retained to facilitate focus groups, compile data, ensure community outreach, and work through governmental review processes. The growth policy had been for five years in a controversial, disheveled public opinion environment. K Communication worked with legal advisement, county planning staff, Montana Association of Counties personnel, and government officials to carry out the project.
